Kids Campus is a community-based, not for profit childcare centre in Gate Pa, Tauranga.
Kids Campus is a wonderful place for children to grow and learn.
At Kids Campus we focus on building strong, lifelong relationships with children, whanau and our local community. We are located just down the road from Tauranga Hospital, Historic Village, Gate Pa Primary, Tauranga Girls College and Te Wananga o Aotearoa.

Philosophy

Kids Campus Childcare provides quality childcare in a secure and caring environment. Kids Campus offers routines, activities and learning opportunities that empower children to learn (Whakamana)

We see children as holistic learners who are forever developing while learning a wide range of new skills and knowledge through many different experiences according to their own interest (Kotahitanga)

Kids Campus acknowledges the importance and influential role of family and community (Whanautangata). We allow children opportunities to be involved in responsive and reciprocal relationships (Nga Hononga)

Te Tiriti o Waitangi is one of the guiding documents for education in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Kids Campus acknowledges Te Whāriki as a bicultural curriculum.

Fees

Our fees at 15/08/2022 are $6.60 per hour, for all ages.

Kids Campus fees are reviewed in April each year, in line with our policy.
All three, four and five-year-old (3-5 years) children enrolled at an ECE service or kōhanga reo that offers 20 Hours ECE are eligible - six hours a day, 20 hours a week at no charge.

Kids Campus offers our 3-5 year old children 30HRS per week FREE, to a maximum six hours a day.

Building Quality Relationships

At Kids Campus we have a low staff turnover. This means your children can build quality relationships with consistent Educators. We are very lucky as we now have children who once came here, returning as adults and enrolling their own children with us. We are very proud to have multiple generations of Kids Campus Kids.

Fantastic Learning Environment

We have a very large, fantastic environment for children to enjoy. We have a spectacular natural outdoor area that promotes happy, healthy and active children. Visitors to Kids Campus are always in awe and the size of our space and the real grass!!

We have sperate under-two and over-two areas which are well resourced. Just behind the centre is the Kopurererua Valley, we feel so blessed to have such a special place on our back door step. We regularly take our children for walks through Kopurererua, connecting with our local area/whenua.
The community walks are often the thing that past children remember most when they pop in to visit us as grown ups.
